Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Prequalification Specialist Engineer in the construction industry, with a preference for experience in Gulf countries, particularly Saudi Arabia.
- Strong knowledge of prequalification processes and procedures in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with local regulations, codes, and standards governing prequalification requirements in Saudi Arabia.
- Experience in evaluating contractor qualifications, capabilities, and performance.
- Proficiency in conducting technical assessments, reviewing project experience, and assessing financial stability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prequalification processes simultaneously.
- Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a must.
Responsibilities
-Prepare the technical and commercial proposal
-Preparing customized prequalification questionnaires based on specific customer requirements.
-Ensure the aligning with the tender requirements
-Prepare the back-up documents required for the tender
-Arrange the documents for pre-qualification process with clients
-Coordinate with the tender teams about the technical requirements that should be fulfilled with tender package
-Tailor the technical documents to fit the tender requirement
-Ensuring full compliance with all necessary documentation, licenses, and certifications for seamless business operations
-Updating and maintaining all necessary documents required for prequalification purposes
-Continuously evaluating and enhancing the prequalification process based on feedback and outcomes
-Maintaining a comprehensive database of registration-related documents for easy access and reference
-Conducting thorough research to understand the prequalification requirements of potential clients, project owners, and regulatory bodies
